Follow these steps to set up your account, share your booking link with clients, and start protecting yourself from no-shows — all for free for 14 days.

Create your account

Sign up with your email. No credit card required. Your 14-day free trial starts immediately.

Go to ploxzi.com and click "Start free trial"
Enter your email and create a password
You can also sign up with Google for faster setup

Complete your profile setup

After signing up, you'll go through a quick 4-step setup. This takes about 3 minutes.

Step 1
Business info
Your business name, type, and username. Your username becomes your booking URL (e.g. ploxzi.com/book/jessica)
Step 2
Hours & schedule
Set your working days and hours. You can customize individual days and set time-off later.
Step 3
Services & pricing
Add the services you offer, set prices and duration. You can add more services any time.
Step 4
No-show protection
Set your cancellation fee percentage. We recommend 50% for short notice and 25% for 24h+ notice.

Connect Square to accept payments

Square is how your clients save a card on file — and how no-show charges get processed automatically. This step is required for no-show protection to work.

Go to Settings in your dashboard
Click "Connect Square" — this opens Square's onboarding
Complete Square's identity verification (takes ~5 min). You'll need your SSN or EIN.
Once connected, your booking link activates and clients can save cards
⚠️Square charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction — the same rate as every other booking app. Ploxzi itself charges 0%.

Share your booking link

Your personal booking link is ploxzi.com/book/[your-username]. Share it everywhere your clients can find you.

Paste your booking link in your Instagram bio. Add "Book here →" to your bio text.

Understand how no-show protection works

This is the feature that makes Ploxzi different. Here's exactly what happens:

When client books
Client enters their card on your booking page. The card is saved on file — no charge at this point.
Day of appointment
Client gets a reminder text 24 hours before and 1 hour before their appointment.
+15 min after start time
If the client hasn't checked in, Ploxzi automatically charges the cancellation fee you set. You get a notification.
Check-in
When your client arrives, tap "Check In" on their appointment card in your Calendar. This cancels any pending no-show charge.
Switching from GlossGenius

Moving your clients over

Switching takes about 10 minutes. Your clients don't need to download anything — they just use your new booking link.

Export your client list from GlossGenius

Log into GlossGenius → go to Clients
Click Export → download as CSV
Your CSV will contain: name, email, phone number

Send your new booking link to clients

You don't need to import a CSV into Ploxzi. Instead, simply notify your clients about the switch. Client profiles are automatically created when they book for the first time.

Sample message to send clients:
"Hi! I've switched to a new booking system. Please use my new link to book your next appointment: ploxzi.com/book/[your-username] — it's quick and easy! 💅"

Cancel GlossGenius after your trial

You have 14 days free on Ploxzi. Use that time to run both platforms in parallel so no client gets missed. Once you're comfortable, cancel GlossGenius.

Tip:Don't cancel GlossGenius mid-month. Wait until your renewal date to avoid double-paying.

Common questions

Do my clients need to create an account?+
No. Clients just visit your booking link, pick a service and time, and enter their card. No account, no app download required.
What if a client disputes a no-show charge?+
Ploxzi records the booking timestamp and the no-show trigger time. You can use this as evidence in any dispute. Square also has a built-in dispute process.
Can I turn off no-show protection for specific clients?+
Yes. On any appointment card, you can manually override the charge before it processes. You have full control.
How do I get paid?+
Square deposits your earnings directly to your bank account, typically 2 business days after a charge. You can see all payouts in your Square dashboard.
Can I block a client?+
Yes. In your dashboard, you can blacklist a client. Blacklisted clients cannot book new appointments through your link.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?+
Your account pauses — your data is saved and no new bookings can be made. You can reactivate any time. We never delete your data without your request.
